I've been using Bluefish for several years and believe it is the finest HTML editor. Yes, it is possible to use vi, Nedit, etc but Bluefish is very fast. IneXPerienced users may look for WYSIWYG editors. For WYSIWYG, you might want to check out IBM's offering.
